MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - 2020 has come to an end, but we are just now opening the window of opportunity for storms. After a cloudy and very mild New Year’s Eve, showers has started to grow in coverage before midnight... throughout the remainder of the evening, rain and a few storms will fill in from the south as a surge of moisture pushes in from the Gulf. The higher coverage of rain and embedded storms will continue into the first half of Friday.
