We’re getting another day of dry heat in metro Atlanta on Thursday.
With highs in the 90s today, it’s still hot. But the lower humidity is making the summer heat more bearable, and that will be the pattern at least through Friday.
“We don’t talk much about a break in humidity during the month of July so we’re going to soak it in while we can,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Ashley Kramlich said.
The dry air is also lowering rain chances, too. There is none in the forecast at least through Saturday.
We’ll see just a slight chance of showers on Sunday and the first half of next week, but it’s expected to stay at just 10-20%.
Our next best chance for rain is forecasted on Wednesday when scattered storms are expected to roll through the area.
