Another unseasonably cool night is ahead with temperatures bottoming out in the 50s! There's a chance we may break or tie record lows Wednesday morning at Quincy Regional Airport. While most forecast models keep us at 55 degrees tonight a few suggest we could see temps as low 50 with the record set at 52 in 1948. With the cool air, calm wind and high pressure overhead we may see some fog develop near sunrise that fog may linger through about 8 or 9 am. Just how dense will the fog get and will that impact your commute? The answer to that is coming up on the next newscast. Some of the fog will lift into a deck of clouds and this will be the beginning of a thickening cloud deck on Wednesday.
Wednesday will be our last cool day for a while, temperatures will start to warm up on Thursday and August-like conditions will return to the area by the weekend.
