Sheetz to lower some gas prices to as low as $3.49/gallon ahead of holiday weekend
PITTSBURGH — Sheetz will be looking to lower some pain at the pump by lowering some of its gas prices on select gas.
Unleaded 88 will cost $3.99 a gallon and E85 will cost $3.49 a gallon, effective immediately.
Unleaded 88 is approved by the EPA for use in vehicles for model years 2001 or newer, as well as light-duty trucks, SUVs and flexible-fuel vehicles.
E85 contains more ethanol (51%-83%) and is not compatible with all vehicles. It is designed specifically for flexible-fuel vehicles or FFVs.
In the Pittsburgh area, three stores have the discounted gas: 8500 Perry Highway, 5400 Campbells Run Road and 1000 Clairton Boulevard. There are also locations offering the deal in New Kensington, Moon, Cranberry, Bethel Park, Sewickley, Monroeville, Bridgeville, Washington, Glenshaw, Natrona Heights, Murrysville, Blairsville and Brownsville.
This offer will be available through the Fourth of July holiday weekend.
