A front stalled to our west across the Ohio River Valley will keep some clouds around at times through this evening, but the majority of our are should stay rain-free into tonight. We could see a stray shower closer to the boundary (mainly north and west of I-64) tonight or early tomorrow, but most of our area will stay dry thanks to high pressure fighting for control just to our east. Lows tonight will fall into the upper 40s and low 50s.
Tuesday will bring cloud cover in some areas early (again, especially in the northern parts of our viewing area), but we should clear out more by the afternoon. With warm southwesterly flow, temps will spike in the coming days, hitting the 70s for most by tomorrow afternoon. Tuesday night looks cool and mainly clear with lows again in the upper 40s and low 50s.
The frontal boundary to our west will remain stalled there for most of this week, which will allow for warm temperatures, a mix of sun and clouds, and dry cool nights.
The front will finally start to move however, by this weekend, bringing increasing chances of rain. Cooler air will eventually move back into our area as well...make sure to tune in tonight to WVVA News at 5,6 10, (CW) and 11 PM for the latest full forecast!
