UPDATE: Follow UFC 250 live updates, highlights and results
For the second straight weekend, the UFC is holding an event in Las Vegas, this time the UFC 250 PPV headlined by the women's featherweight title bout between Amanda Nunes and Felicia Spencer.
UFC 250 was supposed to be held in Nunes' native country, Sao Paulo, Brazil, on May 9, but it was postponed and relocated due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Nevada State Athletic Commission approved UFC's return to the Sin City, allowing for the cards to take place at the UFC APEX in front of no fans. The first event back in Vegas since the pandemic was last week, with Gilbert Burns' victory over Tyron Woodley.
This week, Nunes returns to the 145-pound division for the first time since defeating Cris Cyborg in December 2018. The Brazilian enters UFC 250 with 10 consecutive wins, with the most recent one coming against Germaine de Randamie in UFC 245 to retain the women's bantamweight title.
Her opponent, Spencer, sports an 8-1 MMA record, having defeated Zarah Fairn in a featherweight bout on Feb. 29 for her second UFC win. The Canadian has a 2-1 UFC record.
