Reintroduced to the sneaker landscape in late November, the Nike Terminator has seen a seldom number of releases beyond its OG “BTTYS” collection of two-toned colorways. Following a collaborative effort with COMME des GARÇONS, the clad-leather silhouette is once again reveling in the Hoya Paranoia, this time in a low-top construction mirroring the same iconic grey and blue color blocking.
Following the University of Michigan’s own resized composition, the exceptionally tall side walls of the ankle have been cut down for a summer-ready outfit. Indulging in an identical placement of its mid-80s palette, grey hues envelop the perforated vamp, stitched quarter and heel while dark navy shades encompass the mudguard, mid-foot Swoosh, heel tab and enlarged “NIKE” lettering that comes emblazoned at the heel counter. Enjoying a lightened “Sail” treatment across its midsole, flat nylon laces and a gloomy blue tread bring a close to the John Thompson-influenced effort.
While release date information has yet to be shared, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Terminator Low “Georgetown” below.
In other news, the Nike Kobe 8 Protro is releasing in a “Triple-White” colorway for Fall 2023.
