Golden Globes 2021 pre-show ‘red carpet’ coverage: Time, TV channel, how to watch online without cable - OregonLive

As TV awards shows have moved to a virtual format, traditional red carpet coverage has also changed. But, just as the 2021 Golden Globes Awards show is still happening on Sunday, so is pre-show coverage. We may not be able to ogle big stars as they parade down carpets showing off fancy gowns and glitzy jewelry, but the pre-show will go on.

On the E! channel, where awards show red carpet coverage has become a tradition, Sunday brings the usual time-filling chatter of the “Countdown to the Golden Globes,” which begins hours before anything is scheduled to happen. That gabfest will be followed by “Live From E! Golden Globes,” with pre-awards show stalwart Giuliana Rancic and others on hand.

The 78th Annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony will be broadcast on NBC, which is where viewers can find another pre-show, this one starting at 4 p.m. PT Sunday. Here are details for this year’s revamped pre-Globes show coverage.
