Temps on the rise, humidity stays low - WKOW

singkrata.blogspot.com

MADISON (WKOW) - Perfect timing for summery temps to return as the new season begins this upcoming weekend.

SET UP
High pressure remains in control keeping our weather pattern quiet and dry.

By late-week, a cold front moves in from the west causing humidity and rain chances to go up.

TODAY
After a refreshingly cool start early in the morning, temps will quickly jump to the low to mid 80s by this afternoon.

Dew points, which are a measure of humidity, stay low keeping a drier feel around for most of the week.

TONIGHT
Comfortably mild in the upper 50s with clear skies.

WEDNESDAY
Mostly sunny and warm with high temps in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY
Very warm and still bright with highs in the upper 80s and a touch of humidity.

FRIDAY
Warm and becoming humid with high temps in the upper 80s. There's an isolated storm chance as well.

SATURDAY
Summer begins on a warm note with temps in the low to mid 80s with a few storms possible.

SUNDAY
Father's Day may have a few storms as well with temps in the low to mid 80s again.

More storms expected by Sunday night as the main front moves through our area.
