Lots of the most popular games are down to $30, too
Making up for the fact that the Nintendo Switch is never really on sale, Nintendo has marked down prices on a whole slew of first-party and third-party game titles this year. Since you can't play the Switch without games, this is technically the closest you're going to get to a discounted Nintendo Switch experience.
The video game sale is taking place across multiple retailers, including Best Buy, Gamestop, and Amazon. Everyone's got basically the same lineup, with slight variations on what games they're offering for what price, but look for first-party Nintendo titles like "Super Mario Maker 2," "Luigi's Mansion 3," and "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" for $39.99. Best Buy's sale starts Nov. 22, and Gamestop's starts Nov. 25.
There's one big twist, though: Walmart is holding its Nintendo inventory back for its own Black Friday sale next Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. EST, which will feature those first-party titles like "Super Mario Maker 2" and "The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening" for $9 cheaper than everyone else. Stay tuned for our dedicated article for more on Walmart's upcoming Switch sale.
